Indeed. The RIAA will have a serious problem shutting all the sites down. Makes me think of the DeCSS utility. (For decrypting DVD’s) When the DeCSS utility was released, the MPAA hunted down all sites having the files decss.zip and told them to shut down. Until someone got the idea to create another utility, also called decss.zip, for removing CSS code from HTML pages, which meant MPAA could no longer automatically order a shutdown of any site having a file named decss.zip.
This time it’s a bout freedom of information. Makes me think of the story of the first illegal prime.
