Ayanami Rei’s field trip

April 18th, 2009

During my random net excursions I’ve found two people who came up with the same brilliant idea, to let their Ayanami Rei action figures take walk in the “forest”. I think Rei’s blue hair goes well with green leaves/grass. And of course, Rei is one my favourite characters with her introvert behaviour and contemplating look.
The pictures are taken from Moé Rabu (Moé Love) and Polyvinyl Crush. (There’s also a bunch more pictures from the same sets there, so do check it out if this suits your fancy)

Hej, såg i en torrent på piratebay att du seedade ett gammalt spel som heter myulk. Jag håller på att tanka det nu men har fastnat på 87%. Har du kvar spelet vore det supersnällt om du ville fortsätta seeda :)

To what extent are the joints of this figure articulate? It appears from your photos (which are really cool, btw) that you can move (almost) all joints?

JP! These are not my images, but were taken from two different sources (as linked in the post) which happened to go well together.

As far as I can tell, they are both molded in one piece, so the joints are fixed. If you look at the ones from PolyVinylCrush, you might be fooled by the perspective of the last image; she’s resting on her left arm in all three of those pictures.

Ah, I see. I should’ve read the intro paragraph, but I was being lazy :O)

Thanks for clearing that up though!
